CARE GUIDE — TRACE / Edition 01
Mouse Grip Maintenance & Usage Tips
Material
-
Polyurethane (textured, anti-slip surface)
-
Acrylic Adhesive (strong, clean adhesive backing)
Application
-
Make sure your mouse surface is clean, dry, and free of oils or dust.
-
For best adhesion, wipe the surface and let it dry completely.
-
Apply each grip with even pressure for 10–15 seconds to ensure a secure bond.
Reapplication
-
Our acrylic adhesive allows for multiple applications if handled gently.
-
If you remove the grips, avoid touching the adhesive side to maintain tackiness.
-
Reapply onto a clean surface for the best hold.
- We recommend not to stretch the grips due to the risk of the print cracking.
Cleaning
-
Surface dirt can be wiped using a slightly damp microfiber cloth.
-
Avoid soaking the grips or using harsh chemicals — they may damage the polyurethane texture.
Cutting & Custom Fit
-
For our current grips, you are free to trim them to your preferred shape using sharp scissors.
-
Cut slowly to maintain clean edges and prevent stretching.
Heat & Moisture
-
Avoid exposing the grips to excessive heat, as this can weaken the adhesive.
-
If the grips get damp from sweat, allow them to air dry naturally.
Longevity
-
Lifespan varies based on usage, hand moisture, and storage conditions.
-
When adhesive performance declines, we recommend replacing the grip for optimal control.
